The Team
Ken’s been in the game for over 35 years and knows the cutting industry inside out. With a solid engineering background and a passion for doing things right, he’s built One Stop Cutting Shop around precision, innovation, and keeping things local. He’s always investing in better gear and better ways of working – bringing sharp minds together to tackle tough jobs and turn bold ideas into real results.
Sean’s all about building relationships and making sure customers get exactly what they need. Originally from South Africa, he brings years of engineering sales experience and a real focus on service. Whether it’s your first job with us or your hundredth, Sean’s here to make it easy.
With 25+ years in the industry and as a co founder of One Stop Cutting Shop, Tim’s the guy you want when a job gets tricky. He’s the bridge between complex technical work and practical customer solutions – overseeing specialised operations, fine tuning machine programming, and keeping processes running at their best. When there’s a challenge, Tim’s not just ready – he’s already got a plan.
Simon’s career has been built on lasers – from the shop floor to factory management. He knows the machines, the workflow, and how to keep everything humming. From scheduling and team coordination to maintenance and problem-solving, Simon’s the one making sure things keep moving once the job hits the floor.
Michael’s journey started in drafting, before moving into CNC waterjet cutting and later glass production. Since joining One Stop Cutting Shop, he’s worked across dispatch and the folding department, building a rare mix of hands-on knowledge from drawings to machines to final output. He’s the guy who keeps jobs moving, solves problems before they slow anything down, and is always looking for smarter ways to work.
After crossing the ditch (in the right direction!) Nick started with One Stop Cutting Shop as a truck driver and working in the machine shop. Moving into an operator role from there, he then took on the challenge of programming and operation of our tube laser. He brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a leadership style built on teamwork. Nick is known for his “get in and get it done” attitude, sharp attention to detail, and ability to make smart calls on the fly.
